   fabulous lakeside view of Lake Minocqua. Is that an eagle, or two, perched in
   the towering white pine just feet from your room? As the sun sets over Lake
   Minocqua, can you hear the call of the loons? Step on to your room's balcony
   deck or patio and breathe in the fresh, Northwood's air. When nighfall
   settles in, gaze upward at millions of stars twinkling down on you. There's

   Spring through Fall, "wake up to water, unwind to sunsets!". That's right,
   you can wake up to the early morning peacefulness of Lake Minocqua just
   outside your room and "wow" yourself with beautiful sunsets over the lake.

   When you're ready to enjoy the lake, the Pointe's 220 foot pier and 800 feet
   of lake frontage provides access to over 6,000 acres of fun and
   excitement; fishing, boating, kayaking, canoeing or simply enjoying a tour
   of the historical landmark boathouses on the Minocqua Chain of Lakes.

   Take a leisurely stroll to downtown shops, restaurants, parks and
   activities. A short drive brings you to any one of numerous tournament
   grade golf courses, as well as the historic Bearskin Trail for hiking and
   biking enthusiasts.

   The Winter season begins a whole new chapter of Northwood's fun; on-site
   easy access to the area's main snowmobile trail leading to hundreds of miles
   of trails; just minutes away enjoy cross country skiing, family downhill
   tubing and snowshoeing.

   Is it the amenities?

   Every Studio and Suite at The Pointe features its own efficiency
   kitchenette or full kitchen. The Suites offer the full kitchens with full size
   appliances and are especially popular with families for dining in. However,
   don't be surprised to find yourself induldging in a wonderful complimentary
   continental breakfast served daily in our lobby hospitality area.

   Enjoy our daily continental breakfast; with hot items added on weekends,
   our indoor pool, whirlpool, cedar sauna and fitness room. But,the
   Pointe is a resort hotel offering so much more; amenities including a fishing
   pier and sixteen boat slips, lakeside gas grills, a waterfront campfire patio,
