Condo Ownership
The Pointe Condominium Full Ownership
The Pointe Hotel & Suites is a full ownership recreational condominium resort consisting of 69 waterfront, individually owned Studio, One and Two Bedroom Condominiums. The resort is not a timeshare property. The resort offers full ownership condominium units; each condominium is privately held, fee simple, receiving a deed and title like sole ownership of a private residence, second home, vacation home or cottage.
When the unit owner is not using their condominium for recreational purposes, an owner can elect to enter the unit into the resort’s rental program. Currently all 69 units are entered in the rental program. The rental program offers the unit to area visitors for overnight stays, extended stays, vacations, corporate or business travel. Lodging revenue incurred from overnight stays is distributed to the unit owner, helping offset condominium ownership costs. This ownership is an affordable, exciting and maintenance worry free alternative to owning a lakeside cottage or second home. Best of all, it is located on beautiful Minocqua Lake, one of five connected lakes offering over 6,000 acres of water recreation.
In brief, why might a full ownership recreational use condominium at The Pointe be right for you? 1) Minimize Annual Holding Costs: The Pointe Hotel & Suites offers a vacation destination; a full ownership opportunity operated as a resort hotel with a rental program that minimizes annual holding costs. 2) No Annual Operating Costs: once a buyer makes an initial investment in a unit, there are in most instances no annual operating costs; resort rentals will generate more income than the opeating expense of the unit. 3) Trade for Worldwide Travel: a unit owner can trade the use of their condominium unit to explore travel opportunities throughout the world to exclusive resorts through the Resorts Condominium International Travel Network (RCI) and not negatively impact their condominium unit’s rental cash flow. 4) Inexpensive Ownership Alternative: if a buyer wants to purchase a lakefront property on the Minocqua Chain of Lakes, that buyer will assume higher real estate prices, greater maintenance and upkeep issues, higher real estate property taxes, as well as greater holding costs of the property. A Pointe condominium offers a unit owner a maintenance and worry free opportunity with a revenue opportunity to offset condominium operating costs. 5) To Just Play or Relax: A buyer can purchase a Pointe Hotel & Suites condominium with lots of freedom to play or just relax while not having to work at maintaining a private cottage or second home. Ownership also provides premier resort amenities that a private cottage or second home most likely will not feature. A buyer can purchase a mid-ranged priced cottage or second home on the Minocqua Chain of Lakes, but then will have unknown maintenance and upkeep costs and worries. 6) Great Flexibility: Simply put, it’s a four season, recreational maintenance and worry free property that a unit owner can use when they want. And, a unit owner can trade it through RCI to explore and experience beautiful resort destinations around the world.
